Program Overview                                                                      
Despite the high prevalence of periopeative pain, many patients are inadequately treated. is an online examination that tests the nurse's knowledge of anesthsia and pain management.  As it currently functions as a board review tool for nurses training to be a certified registered nurse anesthetist, it can help any nurse or clinician understand the management of the perioperative patient.  After completing each of the online exams, the user will get a score, and feedback on his or her answer choices. 

Intended Audience                                                                                                               
This activity is intended for any nurse, or nursing student who practices anesthesia or perioperative medicine.

Proper assessment of the surgical patient
Identifying painful disorders
Basic analgesic management
Proper and timely recognition and referral to a pain practitioner

Method of Obtaining CE
